If you're expecting planned activities and tons of excitement , this is not the place for you. However, if you want an intimate relaxing place for a romantic weekend and you enjoy the environment and animals, you will love it.
We rented the frontier cabin for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view from atop the hill. Had everything we needed. The staff was very pleasant and was there for any questions or problems we had. They responded quickly to our needs.
This was the 2nd time we've been there. Disregard the bad reviews, beautiful views, wonderful service, eclectic decorations , the bulldogs are really awesome.
So disappointed. We were looking forward to a nice few days away. The hot tub was green. We could not use that at all. Love the scenery and love the area but the cleanliness was not up to expectations. Lots of flies inside and cramped sleeping accommodations were not what was anticipated. Overall cleaning of the cabin would be well advised. Would love to come back if we knew the conditions improved.
Great place in middle of the country! So peaceful and love being one with nature! Food was great for dinner and the room was awesome! Definitely coming back!
Recently stayed at the lodge and did the babymoon special with my husband. It was beyond amazing! The staff was wonderful and treated me like a queen. I loved our room, it was so spacious and my favorite part was the huge bath tub. The atmosphere was awesome and even had a great time with other guests during meals (the food was so amazing). I usually do not do reviews, but if you ever want a getaway for a weekend, this is the place to go to. My husband and I plan on making the trip at least every year.
Every bit of the design of this place has been thought of extensively, the breakfast is great. Shelby , who cooked our meals, was just awesome, such good service. This was a wonderful, romantic , get away.
